Sangeetha has spent twenty years designing Bangalore homes. Eighty of them are built and lived in across the city.
She still begins by hand. The first sketch is about light, wind, family rituals, neighbours, trees, parking, kitchens, parents, children, and the way Bangalore actually works.
On a Studio Spetia home, she does not leave after concept. She visits the plot, leads the design, and stays close to the site until handover.
Engineer
Sathya.
Sathya is the engineer and operator inside Studio Spetia. NIT Karnataka, mechanical engineering. Bangalore raised.
He runs the construction side: site sequence, material movement, structural coordination, vendor discipline, drawings becoming walls.
The site engineer reports to him. The homeowner has one studio to call. That is the point of the mother-and-son model.
